Two Wanted For Armed Robbery In Custody After Fairfield County Police Pursuit

Police arrested two suspects wanted for an armed robbery and for taking police on a pursuit in Fairfield County.

The incident took place around 9:15 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 3, when Bridgeport Police officers spotted a vehicle wanted in connection with an armed robber in Stratford, said Scott Appleby, director of emergency management.

When Bridgeport officers attempted to stop the vehicle in the 200 block of Hollister Ave., the vehicle fled on Wilmont Street, Appleby said.

The suspects were captured and are in custody, he added.
